Breaking the Stigma covers the lived experience of Andy Salkeld with depression, anxiety and suicidal ideation whilst working as a young professional. Motivational and inspiring, it helps raise awareness of the reality many people face on a day-to-day basis. 

Broken the Stigma? is an educational exploration into the research study conducted by Andy Salkeld into mental illness stigma within professional services. Packed with insight into the psychology of the work environment and its impact on employees, this presentation educates both employers and employees on how best to support each other and themselves with regards to mental health.

Breaking the Stigma and Broken the Stigma? last about 45 minutes each providing ample time for questions. They can be purchased as stand alone products or together.



Whilst presentations are more aimed towards larger audiences with a specific time for interaction at the end, our seminars are designed with audience participation and engagement in mind. 

Each of our seminars is designed around demystifying psychology and mental health within a business context.

Stress is part of our workplaces and as such employers should be doing what they can to support their teams with their mental health and wellbeing. Chronic (Prolonged) stress has many negative impacts on our bodies and minds.

One of the major barriers to many professionals seeking help is that they feel counsellors and therapists won't easily understand their work lives. Andy Salkeld is both a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Psychologist so will  quickly and deeply understand the situation and how best to support you as an individual and allow you to live and work to your best.

Our one-to-one support is designed to support individuals in the workplace over both short term and longer term periods of stress or times of struggle.

Sessions are typically purchased as a full day or half day by organisations to allow scheduled and drop in support sessions from your office space, but can be flexible about your requirements.

A note about One-to-One support

Please note I am not a psychiatrist, clinician or therapist. I will be very explicit in my discussions with you and your business you around what I can and cannot provide as a psychologist, coach and mentor whilst supporting you.

The focus of our work together will always be on your life within the context of work life and home life. Should you feel that you need more or differing support, I will be able to discuss the options available to you and how best for you to proceed beyond our sessions. 

My responsibility will always be to you as an individual and will be as honest as I can with whether I feel I can help you.
